Theme(s)

doom-meltbus

What were you expecting?

"bright black" text is readable in vterm.

What actually happened?

The meltbus theme uses the same color for the terminal background and for "bright black" text, which renders fish autosuggestions useless. My proposed solution would be to color "bright black" text the same as comments in an editor buffer.

Steps to reproduce

  1. switch to doom-meltbus theme
  2. open vterm
  3. run a program that produces "bright black" text

Operating system

NixOS unstable

Emacs version

Emacs unstable
