Hello, I'm stating this issue here because i couldn't get help in reshade forums.
I've been basically using DXVK with The Sims 3, decided to install reshade but it halves down my fps.
I've done the casual installation and reshade does load up fine but won't get past 24fps while D3D9 with reshade reaching >100 even though i don't think it's a performance related issue.

Software information

The Sims 3, Reshade

System information

  • GPU: RX6600XT
  • Driver: 24.4.1, Latest
  • OS version: Windows 11
  • DXVK version: Latest

Are you using the D3D9 or Vulkan version of ReShade?

Vulkan. It doesn't work when D3D9 is enabled since the DLLs would probably be clashing.

It actually seems to be locking the fps or something? It won't get past 28fps.

I also realized it runs fine in fullscreen. Does it think i'm alt tabbing maybe?

Nope unfortunately. DXVK also runs fine without reshade btw.

Try using ReShade's performance mode and also turn off loading of disabled effects.
