I have been trying to figure out a similar configuration with postfix, they posted this was supposedly possible via Discord but no details as to how specifically within the .env file. The [[SMTP]] section of the .env isn't exactly clear on how to get that specific configuration working. |

Hey there, based on how others have done Nodemailer with postfix you should be able to get away with something similar to the following:
I did note that others have to disable the rejecting of unauthorised TLS connections so that may be an issue that has to be solved for. As an aside do you need to run Postfix? I assume you're using it as a relay or bridge to a different SMTP server which could instead be configured above. |

for a locally configured relay I'm currently seeing this in the logs due to a self signed certificate the application does not seem to want to accept.
Would adding a value in the following resolve this?
And if so what might that value be? Treating it like a boolean did nothing. |

@Mythie
Is this a change that will need to be made to the web application or is this something we as self-hosting users will need to attempt to resolve? Additional logging may help with that, but not sure how that may be accomplished at present. |
