This issue appears to affect both macOS and Windows versions of Docker Desktop. Since there are no open issues related to this problem in the macOS repository, I am opening one here. A detailed description of the problem can be found in the Windows repository under issue #13242.
Brief Description:
When a Docker image is run, it exits immediately with exit code 0. A temporary workaround is to run an image in the OS terminal: docker run -it --name ubuntu ubuntu:latest.
Reproduce
Open Docker Desktop.
Navigate to the Images tab.
Run any Docker image.
Expected behavior
The Docker container should keep running after pressing Run.
