Release schedule or how to build compose from HEAD

Hello! I am interested in trying out some fixes made to docker compose watch that have not been released yet. As this seems to be a new and exciting feature I would imagine a lot of changes will be made in the next few months to handle issues and I would like to have the capability to test these changes as they get merged into main (or even on other branches). Is there a set schedule for docker compose releases? Looks like roughly every month. Is there a document that points out how to build docker compose locally from git? Thank you.

Steps

1. Download the Compose Binary from the GitHub Releases page
2. Place the binary into /usr/local/bin/ directory. If required, you can rename the binary to something like /usr/local/bin/docker-compose-v23
3. check via docker compose version or docker-compose-v23 version
