Hi,
I'm on a windows 64-bit machine, installed docker desktop and tried to cross-compile the hello_word script.
This worked out well using the following code:
git clone https://github.com/dockcross/dockcross.git cd dockcross docker run --rm dockcross/linux-armv7l-musl > ./dockcross-linux-armv7l-musl chmod +x ./dockcross-linux-armv7l-musl ./dockcross-linux-armv7l-musl bash -c '$CC test/C/hello.c -o hello_arm -static'
Note that I needed to add the -static option at the end to get it working on my target armv7l system.
Next I would like to cross-compile python package to generate a python wheel which I can deploy on my target system.
However, here I'm getting stuck. I wanted to have an interactive bash with the container in order to do the cross-compilation and trouble shooting. But when trying
./dockcross-linux-armv7l-musl bash
it just executes and closes the container and doesn't generate an interactive shell. Without this, I'm kind of lost...Any help to point me in the good direction would be appreciated as I'm completely new to docker and cross-compiling.
Thanks,
Jurgen
