We could ask a user to choose from a list of project templates, and automatically create the project for them on Screendoor.

Pending questions:

  • How does a user authenticate w/ Screendoor (no OAuth...)
    • If we use a sitewide API key, how do we know which user to invite to the project?
  • Do we pull a list of templates, or specify them in config vars?

Seems like adding an Integrations page in Screendoor's settings, with a link to Dispatch, would make this easier.

For example, if Dispatch knew the user's Screendoor account, we could populate a dropdown in the "How to Submit" with a list of their Screendoor projects, instead of making them search for their embed token.

But they would still need to create a project.

Creating the project via the API would mean that the setup process doesn't
span two different apps.
