I suggest the F5 key.

F5 key is already in use to just save.

So we would need to:

  • Implement the keyboard shortcut to launch the game
  • A way to define the full command line you want to run at launch
  • The ability to preview unsaved maps, or possibly a warning to save first.

Is there a reason to not just automatically save when you hit F5?

The reason you might not want it saved, is because there's no undo button in adikted. So:

  1. Load a map
  2. Make an experimental change
  3. Preview in KeeperFX to see the change
    --> dislike the change and notice you cannot load to go back to before the preview
