Following test fail when package with the versions specified in the pyproject.toml:

    "test_excludeschema"
    "test_fixtures"
    "test_rls"
    "test_singleschema"

In the NixOS packaging issue we assumed, that this is because there are some dependencies without versions specified in the pyproject.toml.
The error message associated with all of these failing test is:
List argument must consist only of tuples or dictionaries
