Describe the bug
When importing multiple species from LigParGen, the default atom type for sites on different species can be the same. Cannot edit atom type during importing.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behaviour (if necessary):

  1. Try to import "methanol" and "ethanol" into the same box from LigParGen, all carbon sites regardless of which molecule will share one Atop Type.

Expected behaviour
Ideally: be able to modify atom type during the import process (i.e. delete/merge duplicating sites; renaming the atom type)

Alternative: dissolve should be able to recognise atom types that are already present in the current input and therefore automatically rename any sites that the user tries to import that have clashing names.

Current workaround: create a new dissolve input for each LigParGen species, import, edit within dissolve, then use the "import species from existing simulations" function to import the modified species to the actual simulation box.

Operating System:

  • OS: Windows / OSX / Linux (delete as appropriate)
  • OS version / flavour: [e.g. Windows 10, Catalina, Ubuntu 18.04]
