I've made a template to create an extremely simple bot with trivial persistence setup (just a dummy sqlite db & honeysql added)

Ooooh this seems like a very handy addition to the discljord org! Does it also make decisions around configuration management, logging, etc.?

Currently yes, here is the templated deps.edn file that gets generated. Also included is clojure.build support to create a deployable uberjar.
