Goal is to find obvious bugs in upgrades by quickly testing features. It should cover at least the following, while using most of the language features in Daml:

  • Upgrading at compile time: successful and failing
  • Upgrading at participant level: successful and failing
  • Run a simple fetch / query in Script
  • Run a simple create / fetch using ledger API / codegen

. Goal is to find bugs to later fix and write integration tests for (not covered as part of this task).
