I got a data collection email this morning, but I'd already proactively entered all the data.

Was it definitely asking you for the same data? I think this might be a manifestation of #42, i.e. it was asking you for tomorrow's data. When I filled in data for a week before the end of the week, I didn't get a data collection email the following week.
