Small up/down steps are too small #62
Comments
I can see a difference when I increment by 0.01 degrees and would recommend keeping the steps where they are. Although the brighter spots don't visibly change, the weaker ones do .
A couple of notes:
o When the angle gets large bigger than about 0.3 degrees, instead of smearing out, the spot appears to fan out into a number of smaller spots. Is this the intended behavior?
o After using shift-up, I can't seem to increment/decrement by the smaller interval. The controls change the value by the larger interval no matter what input I use (arrow buttons or keyboard arrows).

Subject: [EXTERNAL] [dermen/sim_erice] Small up/down steps are too small (Issue #62)
I'm handing this one to @mewall<https://urldefense.com/v3/__https://github.com/mewall__;!!Bt8fGhp8LhKGRg!BqvG0sukgepqoeQoXIBmU3XZkgQdKT2eqhBBXMHJikdC9oJBFvMWIxesTVia4FrF8j34wjciaf0xnpx6EeG-CMad$> . I've asked previously for the default increment for any control-panel parameter to make an appreciable difference in the diffraction pattern. Some fail this test, particularly the mosaic angle (stepping from 0.1 to 0.11 degrees is a tiny difference). Could you review the situation and offer some revised levels for small-increment and large-increment?
