How do you connect room light bulb to rapsberry pi?

It would be done with simple electronic part called relay it has hight voltage input and output, circuit is open (or closed - depends from type) when some small voltage is provided into control input.

Hey @vko-online. I'm using the following relays (http://img.dxcdn.com/productimages/sku_121354_2.jpg) for the high power elements. They're wired similar to this: https://static.bocoup.com/blog/relay-breadboard.png
