It is hard to test that translations look properly on macOS because the View -> Load Custom Translation menu item recommended in the Community Translators guide is missing on macOS. It is present on Windows and Linux though.

Looking at the code, the app menu code for darwin is incomplete compared to regular app menu code used for other OS.

Enabling Load Custom Translations on macOS could be a small code change but I'm not sure. There might be reasons it was hidden in the first place.
