why not availabe on arch

why it is not available to install it on arch to be able to build deb packages even if you are not using debian based distro ??

I converted the latest deb package of debreate using debtap on manjaro and was able to install debreate on manjaro (arch based) altough it is not availabe in aur (just incase any one needed to install it on arch based distro )

You can download the .zip archive & run it on any system that has the correct versions of Python & wxPython. As long as the system has dpkg executable(s), it should be able to build packages.

Whether or not Debreate ends up in the Arch Linux repos depends on whether someone wants to add it using the Arch build system/package manager. As I am not familiar with Arch, I can't do it myself.

I have recently become familiar with the Arch Build System. So I may eventually submit a patch/request to Arch devs.
