The new firmware removed the old way of adjusting the view on a document in favor of two pre-set ("Fit to width" and "Fit to height") and pinch-to-zoom options that can be set on a page and then "forced" on the remaining pages of the document ("Use current view").

At least on the reMarkable 1, detailed adjustments with the pinch-to-zoom motion are impossible. Most of the time, the tablet doesn't register the motion, and if you apply more pressure, it does zoom in or out too much.

Not being able to fine-tune the zoom on a page is extremely frustrating. It would be a killer feature if the ddvk hacks would bring back the old way to adjust the view with the pen.

the thing is that my changes misuse existing functionality. I also use need the old adjust view, but I got removed and so far I'm not sure I event want to use the new version...

Maybe you could add the option to have a gesture for 125%, 133%, 150%, 200% and 400% zoom steps somehow ? Personally I never want custom zoom levels, I always wish I could just do specific zoom 'steps', so overriding the default zoom gesture would be perfectly fine - but even a row of click boxes in the ddvk-Options-Panel-Thing would help.
