how to set config.mjs?

Hi, this is probably a dump question as I'm unfamiliar with coding.
To enable sidebars in all sites, I would like to follow the guide provided at https://flowershow.app/docs/site-wide-toc. However, the original config.mjs file appears as follows:

Replacing the code in config.mjs with the below does not seem to work. How can I properly enable the sidebar option in config.mjs?

};

export default config;

To implement this, add the following code to config.mjs:

  showSidebar: true,
};
