ProgrammingError: (psycopg2.errors.UndefinedFunction) function max(uuid) does not exist
LINE 1: SELECT max(id) AS max_1, min(id) AS min_1
It seems that the query generated by Dask attempts to use the max and min functions on the UUID column, which PostgreSQL does not support by default.
Has anyone encountered this issue before, or does anyone have suggestions on how to work around this problem? Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated.

I am attempting to read data from a PostgreSQL table where the primary key is a UUID using Dask's dd.read_sql_table method. Here is the code snippet:
ddf = dd.read_sql_table('table_name', con=database_url, index_col='id', npartitions=1000, schema='public')
However, I encounter the following error:
