While node-eccc has the features that we at Dark Sky require, we need to evaluate what components of Sarracenia still need to get ported over for a fully-featured 1.0 release.

Off the top of my head:

  1. Support fetching of resources in-client. This includes via HTTP, HTTPS, SFTP, and FTP. Would an acceptable 1.0 release include only a subset of these?
  2. Telemetry feedback. The official client sends notifications back to the AMQP server when it successfully receives a message. A conforming Node client would do similarly.
