We love your plugin at TU Wien and would have a hopefully interesting feature request for you.
When working with groups, very often group relevant statistics are interesting. When I open the "Report" tab and filter to a specific group, I see at the bottom of the column the stats on how many students have been attending, were absent in absolut numbers etc. Here it would be fantastic to have group-specific statistics in percent, for example ...
"how many students of the group were attending in percent"
"how many students of the group were absent in percent"
etc.

Thanks for the suggestion - I'd actually like to pull that custom report out completely and move to using Moodle's custom report api's however the new api doesn't currently have the ability to render summary rows at the bottom of the report, but hopefully that will be something that gets added in future.

If you have internal development capablities, pull requests are always welcome, or feel free to reach out privately if you would like to fund further improvements to the plugin.

Hi @danmarsden , thank you for your feedback. When you mean you pull the report out of the activity you refer to place it under the "Reports" tab of the course? Or completely place it in the custom reports admin area admin/reportbuilder/ ?
Cheers,
Gergely

Moodle core has a new API called "report builder" or "custom reports" - that api allows us to build out flexible reports - we have added some report sources for attendance already which let you do site-level reports, but it also allows us to create reports inside the activity as well - but with better filtering / ability to hide/show columns as required etc etc.

It would need a decent amount of funding to implement though.

Thank you, did not know about this. Sounds interesting, but needs more resources, I see ...
