This screen recording shows the behavior in Firefox with the attendance activity configured to allow self-marking by students. With 'unselected' chosen in the dropdown, the faculty used to be able to select a status from the top and it would only be applied to those students who had not already selected a status. Recently, that has stopped working, so selecting a status from the top changes ALL students statuses, even if they had already been set.

Note that the plugin still works in Chrome; this bug has only been seen in Firefox so far.

Thanks for the report! - can you please also include the Moodle version and version of Attendance you are using? - If you have internal development capabilities, pull requests are always welcome otherwise feel free to reach out privately if you would like to help fund improvements to the plugin!

thanks,

Sorry Dan, I meant to include that in the original issue. Attendance plugin version is 2023020107 and Moodle version is Moodle 4.1.4 (Build: 20230612). Thanks!
