EXT-ICONS and default file assosiations not applied #1855

System information:

  • Windows OS version: 23H2 22631.3155 Latest
  • ImageGlass version: 9.0.10.201 Latest
  • Net Runtime 8.0.2 Latest

To Reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Remove all icons from imageglass folders
  2. copy ext icons to the %localappdata%\ImageGlass\Ext-Icons and %programfiles%\ImageGlass\Ext-Icons
  3. click "make default button"
  4. look at the example files

Actual behavior:

imageglass is not set as default and icons didn't change

Expected behavior:

to work.

The problem is that it looks like it set default, but when i try to open a new format it still will ask for which program to use, then if i select imageglass, icons will be converted to 3rd party and fixed. it can be a problem about administrator rights etc, but i already have all rights and even run imageglass with trustedinstaller rights. but still didn't fixed the issue, i always have to manually open jpeg png tiff etc files for once after fresh install of windows + imageglass
