So, i tried to duplicate my issue in previous post and created a new one with a fresh take on this matter.
Below i have two pictures, I was coming in for an approach white the other aircraft SHA222 was taking off. Initially stratux identified it as a mode s (no pos ) traffic, It didnt show its CRS or speed then ,which is fine prolly due to obstruction in line of sight. After a while the traffic flew passed us and it was clearly in the line of sight visible with th

e naked eye. All this time stratux was showing me other traffic even 50 miles away. With SHA222, in the second pic if you see I could now get the speed and code course of SHA222 but stratux still kept it persistently in mode s (no pos) window .it has all the criteria to be identified as a adsb traffic and not just mode s. This is happening a lot some aircraft even if i get all the params it will still be fixed in the mode s window. Any explanation to this? The only param that i see missing is the gps data in SHA222 but if it can get everything el

se then it should in theory get the gps data of the aircraft too. Perhaps the mode s function doesn’t reevaluate or search for the gps coordinate. Hope fully if the developers could add a ”refresh” function to stratux then it would not be necessary to reboot the system to get the traffic ? Any thoughts?
