The function documentation says "Gauged Daily Flow is measured in mm/day".
However, Gauged Daily Flow is measured in m^3/sec.
Either the documentation needs changing to that effect, or change the values by gdf * secPerDay / (area * 1e6) * 1e3
(adjusting for catchment area in km^2,; secPerDay = 86400).
