Discussion: bibliographic data #12
Comments
Need to decide the granularity of the bibliography page. How will the bibliography for a hierarchy end point (e.g. City of Opele) differ from entities above it (e.g. Opele Voivodeship)? Simplest would be purely manual. |
There's some example bibliographic data in the RDF sample data (but incomplete w.r.t.the Google docs); see line 954. My working assumption is that bibliographic data will be added manually per-place. Per this assumption, any cleverness about looking for parent place bibliographies would be handled in the search/retrieval phase. And maybe in some fancy helper UIs (that may come later?) |
I entered the proper bibliography into Zotero and exported it as Chicago Manual of Style, MLA, BibTeX and RIS. This is a partial list but should be enough, I think, to get us going. Please use this in place of the sample bibliography in the RDF. Chicago 17th Ed. Note:Bláhová, Marie. Historická Chronologie. Prague: Libri, 2001. MLA 8th Ed.Bláhová, Marie. Historická Chronologie. Libri, 2001. We have sample data (in the Opele Word document on the Google share), but need to decide how to represent it in RDF.
