Summary

When the self-signed certificate gets invalid or re-newed, the secure WebDav connection needs to be re-added

What software is involved?

iOS 17.1.2, Cryptomator 2.4.9

Volume Type

WebDAV (HTTP Address)

Steps to Reproduce

Add WebDAV address with https, IP and self-signed cert
let the certificate either auto-renew or expire

Expected Behavior

Option, to go into the WebDAV connection screen and re-trust the certificate.

Actual Behavior

Files app goes into a faceID loop, and not displaying contents.
When opening Cryptomator and going into the WebDAV connection, it says that the certificate changed and is not trusted.
I need to delete the connection (and therefore all vaults) and readd them one by one

Reproducibility

Always
