Translation of website

Hi;

I would like to raise the possibility of including the Cryptomator website in the translation project present on Crowdin, giving it more visibility, and making it easier to be understood by new users (non English and German speaking).

And it would also be very useful to add to the Cryptomator presentation the different languages supported, because I didn't find any mention of this on the site (if I mislead him about this, please excuse me)

From a technical perspective this is possible. However, I see some organizational as well as legal difficulties here:

1. Under certain circumstances we are required to refresh the site with new information and can not wait for translations. In this case we'd need to disable access to the translated page until it is fully translated.
2. In the EU we are required to write our privacy policy as well as terms and conditions information in every language, our website is available on. Since we are unable to check if such translations meet 100% of the original policies, there is a high risk when relying on community translations.

I wonder if there is some middle ground like only translating parts of the front page. We have to discuss this with our lawyer, as well.
