Please agree to the following

Summary

After unlocking a local vault, when opening some .heic images the vault suddenly closes.

System Setup

- Android: [12]
- Cryptomator: [1.8.0]
-

Cloud Type

No response

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Open a local vault
  2. Zoom into an .heic image

Expected Behavior

Not a crash

Actual Behavior

Vault blocks itself

Reproducibility

Intermittent

Thanks for reporting this bug.

It can be reproduced using e.g. https://github.com/tigranbs/test-heic-images/raw/master/image1.heic, fixed by setting Bitmap.Config.HARDWARE as mentioned in https://stackoverflow.com/questions/65643305/heifdecoderimpl-causes-decstrong-called-too-many-times#comment122337766_66942173 and is related to davemorrissey/subsampling-scale-image-view#559. But I also currently don't know what the impact will be 🤔
