"Cryptocat Cannot Check for Updates"

"Cryptocat Cannot Check for Updates".

I've been getting this error message every day since last week. While "Not able to login" resolved itself after a few days, this still comes with every automatic update as well as with trying manual update.

I also can't download Cryptocat from download.crypto.cat. I think it's all because of the recent DDoS attack.
