But the Read-Only file system used in it's variant of Arch prevents it being implemented. The obvious solution is Flatpak, right? Are there any other solutions? Would "Overlay" be of any benefit here or is that reserved for smaller changes? I am asking more for my education and to maybe spark some ideas.
Read-only is there for a reason and I respect that reason; at least until the OS and software development has stabilized more for the Deck.
