crud89/README.md

Hello everybody 👋

My name is Carsten and I love software development. I am mostly writing computer graphics and rendering software. I love video game technology.

In the past, I also did a lot of modding for the GTA III era games. I started and lead the infamous GTA: United modification for GTA: San Andreas and did some programming and scripting for GTA: Berlin. I also wrote some tools, of which I unfortunately lost access to the source code over the time (but there are better alternatives nowadays, anyway). I contributed much of my knowledge to the GTA Mods Wiki and continue to do this until this date from time to time.

However, most of my current free-time projects relate on graphics engine architecture and modern rendering APIs. In particular, I am developing the LiteFX engine. I also do research in Virtual, Augmented and Diminished Reality and image/texture synthesis.
