After discussion in #88 and on chat, the feature was removed in #102 .
Let's not forget to bring it back in time for the next Berlin Sternfahrt ;)

i was thinking about adding another fragment for settings. in that fragment we can have a more complex menu structure for enabling or disabling route overlays. this would make it possible to add more ADFC routes or even bicycle highways for example.
one thing that would also significantly improve performance would be thinning out the coordinates to have a minimum distance of ~3 m or so. back then they were waaaaaay to accurate.

what do you think?

are you guys on board with adding another branch on the main repository to get started with this?

Sorry, please can someone explain, what the former Sternfahrt Feature comprised ?

Background: I am currently evaluating the use of the CMA during the Sternfahrt 2017, and we found some small issues, or improvements, and I don't want to reinvent the wheel.

Today I filed #192 which is a result from Sternfahrt17.

@cbalster aha. A kind of overlay function (option) would be indeed nice, but not important (overlay points from a gpx file).

it would be opt-in so people would be able to choose
