New release

Hello, thanks for providing this great library!

In my build system I really like to use released versions of libraries instead of the latest commit to produce reproducible builds.
As the last release is 2,5 years old, I wanted to ask if you plan to create a new release in the foreseeable future?

Hi @rkahv. Thanks for the ping! It's hard to believe that much time has already gone by, although I think we missed the mark to make it into Ubuntu 18.04, so 20.04LTS is still the latest and greatest. Are there any features you are missing in the current library that could make it into the next release? If so, please feel welcome to submit a PR! Thanks for using the library!
