Is there an existing issue for this?

  • I have searched the existing issues

Current Behavior

My file seems to not run if i have "update" in my file name

it says "[Failed to start running. Please compile first.]"

issue
image

Same file runs perfectly when i rename it to anything else "hello" or whatever that doesn't have "update" as part of file name

image

Expected Behavior

it should work fine irrespective of file name

Steps To Reproduce

  1. Create a file with name as "update" as save it as cpp file
  2. now try to compile and run it

CP Editor Version

6.10.3

OS

Windows 11

Are you willing to contribute to this?

  • I'm ready to fix this (and will open a PR soon)
  • I'd like to have a try (with the help of the maintainers)
  • No, thanks

Anything else?

Could you please check whether it's blocked by some anti-virus software? Also check if you can manually run executable files with the name update.exe.
