(I write that short as a reminder and from my smartphone).

Terminals that do support Sixel don't handle grid cell selection over images well.

The FAQ of notcurses also acknowledges that, and it should be clearly defined in a proper future good image protocol.

How does selection affect the visual appearance?
What happens when a image (fragment) selection is too be copied?
