Issue created by migration from Trac.

Original creator: alexsato

Original creation time: 2015-08-21 14:04:26

Assignee: @merraksh

Version:

I am using Couenne with Open Solver and am trying to run a large model. However, every time I run it, Couenne stops as soon as it finishes writing all the constraints, with error code -1073741819.

Could you please advise?

Thanks

Hi,

does it display any other error message? In any case, please consider attaching a copy of the problem. It would be preferable to have the .nl file that is passed to Couenne for better reproducibility.

Hi,

It doesn't display any other error message. The .nl file is larger than 1Mb when zipped, how can I attach it here?

Thanks

You can try. However, since you mentioned it, if the zipped .nl is more than 1MB then the problem is large enough that there are few chances of solving it to global optimality. I believe what you are getting is an out-of-memory error.
