Rephrase and improve workspace "duplication" flow

Not a critique but i'm trying to understand the duplicate feature of a workspace.

What i'm expecting:

• Click on duplicate
• choose another name
• deploy the workspace
• the workspace has the same settings and extension of the previous one

What i'm getting:
...

• New brand workspace without any of the features the previous one maintained.

What i need to do (so if there is another way i'll proceed with that)

• Creating a workspace template for multiple workspaces (they need some basic extensions a theme and some keyboard shortcut)
• Deploying a workspace with that template so every user as a starting point

I know that there are setting syncers but they are not reliable and i don't want to use them so anyone can share with me a way to achieve this?

@kylecarbs I don't think we should remove duplication, just improve the copy depth. Can we at least copy the

• Parameters (we already do)
• General settings (only automatic updates today)
• schedule settings (when workspace-level configuration is allowed)

Some customers use generalized templates with many parameters, I could see how this feature would help them.

Why would you want to remove it entirely?

@stirby I think "Recreate" is fair, but duplicate is not.

I was hasty in saying we remove it, but we should rephrase it.

As a user, I would not have any idea what "Recriate" would do. Maybe "Create from this workspace"? Or "Create from"?

Maybe a button with the title "Recreate" and description "Uses the same parameter and settings as of the current workspace."
