24/7 silent hangout: Jitsi and codebuddies, people online count mismatch. #1160

What is the current behavior?
jitsi says you are only one here, and at bottom codebuddies UI suggest there are people in 24/7 hangout.

What is the expected behavior?
both jitsi and codebuddies suggest same number
Which browser / OS are affected by this issue? (An isolated way to reproduce the bug)
Chrome / Ubuntu 20.

lpatmo suggested to remove showing online people count in codebuddies as quick fix.
@lpatmo is this right, can I submit a PR for this ?
