Currently we don't have a changelog which makes it hard for end users to know the changes between the different versions. This should be changed in the future.

Since we are using goreleaser we should utilize its capabilities for this: https://goreleaser.com/customization/changelog/

The rules for the changelog should be documented the GitHub Wiki which is then linked to the CONTRIBUTING.md file.
