I'm trying to get good enough tracking to be able to use VR often.
The tracking isn't jittery, but whenever there's any occlusion or even just the headset and controllers rotated certain ways, the headset or controllers drift off a certain distance. I wouldn't say it's a lot of occlusion either, for example hovering my hand in front of the headset is enough to make it drift off.

Any advice to get more reliable tracking?

To help I'd need a few more pieces of information:

This type of issue is typical of slightly inaccurate lighthouse positioning. Recent commits and settings are meant to address this but there might be corner cases; in which case recordings of it failing are important to fix it.

  1. Currently using an original vive, 2x lighthouse 1.0.
  2. Built from source, master branch.
  3. Not sure how to record while also using monado, so I just blindly moved the headset around. Hopefully it still shows the issue.
