I am a retired engineer, i needed to machine a slot in a pot metal model train chassis. I did the first one with a dremel manually but I needed better accuracy on the Z axis depth. I made a cnc Z axis assembly and needed the controller. I found GRBL and CNC Shield for an Old UNO I never used. I just ran the Z axis Dremel cutter up and down the new carriage with Your Software. I am on cloud 9. I see this is a very quiet site nowadays but i simply wanted to try to get the word out, THANK YOU. I am not rocket scientist although I worked on Rockets at Martin Marietta at one time. I am a systems engineer with some robotics, vision, automation and User interface experience.
I hope you see this note and smile because you made me smile today. Thank You, all the best. Now I am on to X & Y Axis controllers. Dennis in Virginia, retired but I ain't dead yet.
