1. Please describe why this term needs to be added

What this term is about? (briefly)

A Load Balancer is a networking device or software component that distributes incoming network traffic across multiple servers or resources. Its purpose is to optimize resource utilization, improve the availability and reliability of applications, and ensure no single server becomes overwhelmed. This helps prevent server overload and ensures that all users have a smooth and responsive experience when accessing a website or application.

Why this term needs to be added? (briefly)

@Abdullah-Shahen @FII78 thanks for your interest. After checking in with the other maintainers, we found that we already have a not yet finalized version of the term, see: https://github.com/cncf/glossary/blob/main/content/en/load-balancer.md. We would be happy to see you folks updating and finalizing the existing one.

Cool, just wanted to check in if it clear how to proceed? We have an existing definition already but it is not really ready: https://github.com/cncf/glossary/blob/main/content/en/load-balancer.md. You could jump in to help finalizing it. That would be super nice. @FII78
