Tsunami Potential Energy in GeoClaw?

Dear GeoClaw Team,

I would consider the labels feature/ help wanted for this "issue".

I am wondering if there is a way to directly obtain the tsunami potential energy from a tsunami simulation with GeoClaw following the suggested equation from Lotto et al. (2017), Song et al. (2017) or Melgar et al. (2019)?
