Roberto di Cosmo has suggested to me that we could support the biblatex-software style extension (docs) as a target style for BibTeX.

I think this is a great idea, because it (a) supports the biblatex-style effort, and (b) further integraytes CFF with ongoing efforts.

To start off, I (or someone else) would need to look into the style to figure out whether we should replace the current BibTeX output, or implement this as an alternative. I'm currently a bit short on time, but we could briefly speak about this during our CFF catch-up call, @jspaaks?

If I can say it would be better to keep the BibText support ( --format bibtex) and add a new one named as BibLatex ( --format biblatex).
