Making progress with OwnCloud login per LINUX password. Probably I missed one or two SELinux settings. |

Hi all,
As you know, the goal of so-called "phase 1" of the S&P-ARK project is to create a so-called "Open Source Conferencing Tool" for the use by small, closed groups of people.
Probably we will use the knowledge and maybe code snippets from the Grasshopper Academy project of John.
To keep the efforts small, I would suggest to use the OwnCloud software ( https://owncloud.com ) as an infrastructure for sharing the executables of the project among a small group, which would then actually be the group of people, who test the software together.
This will not preclude contributing to the sources of the project, without the need to apply for a username at our ownCloud deployment.
Additionally, I would like to reuse the authentication (user name + password) of ownCloud for the access to this "small, closed group" to the testing "conferences".
Currently, I am trying to solve some issues at our ownCloud deployment that have been reported by the ownCloud software (e.g. problems with .htaccess files at the server).
I will keep you posted.
Have a nice week
