Kernel: 5.3.0-24-generic x86_64 bits: 64 Desktop: Xfce 4.14.1 Distro: Ubuntu 19.10 (Eoan Ermine)
Machine:
LENOVO product: 20FBCTO1WW v: ThinkPad X1 Carbon 4th
Graphics:
Intel Skylake GT2 [HD Graphics 520] driver: i915 v: kernel
Display: x11 server: X.Org 1.20.5 driver: modesetting unloaded: fbdev,vesa resolution: 1920x1080~60Hz
OpenGL: renderer: Mesa DRI Intel HD Graphics 520 (Skylake GT2) v: 4.5 Mesa 19.2.1

Compton version: 0.1~beta2+20150922-1

Installed compton from universe repository. Xubuntu/XFCE environment. I start compton from command line and suspend the machine; it segfaults on wake:

I'm also Ubuntu 19.10 and Thinkpad E959.
Black screen after waking from suspend when backend= "glx"

guys this repo hasn't had a commit in 3 years... The new fork is over here. https://github.com/yshui/picom
