Bug? Doesn't work inside <div>

I use <div></div> around some of my text to put different types of borders around portions of text. For example a colored bar down one edge or a colored box around text.

When I use your plug-in to highlight some text within such a <div>, it either doesn't do anything, or it puts the <mark></mark> after the end of the </div>

Either way, I can't use the plugin's highlighting inside these blocks. Is that due to the way the markdown is rendered by Obsidian or can you fix this?
