I'm sure i'm going something wrong but I'm using dns-01 to provision certs for pods using an internal CA (i tried with let's encrypt too) to serve the certs and handle the dns challenges. The prblem i'm facing is that this process takes nearly 2 minutes to complete leaving me with deployments that take 6-10 minutes before kubernetes picks up the cert via the CSI driver and starts the pod.
Was wondering if there was a way to reduce this time. 2/3 of the time is cert-manager prepping to issue the challenge and update DNS.
I'm hoping i just have a mis-configuration somewhere or my expectations are unreasonable
